Fishy Journal : Jumpa Lecturer Lama

At a Hotel.

The Fish was accompanying and helping child #1 to breakfast. (dia tak puasa daa..)

Then I saw him standing at the buffet line.

The Fish quickly ran a mental checklist:

• Unkempt hairdo : Check. A little bit more gray hair now than 7 years ago.
• Long Sleeve Shirt, pressed, unbuttoned long sleeve, tucked into pants rather unartistical : Check.
• Tall thin frame, likely to fly in a gail wind : Check.
• Trousers / Pants ; usually does not match shirt, grayish and hangs at the ankle : check
• Trouser's belt ; none - he doesn't use one. (if it doesn't fall off then I don't need a belt..) : Check
• Flip /flops : Nope. No Flip Flops. He had a brown, thick soled sneakers on. It does not match his outfit. Sneakers looked oversized. But still characteristics of him.
• Deep bass voice : Check. He said "Yes. I am he." when The Fish asked him.
  

He remembered The Fish (alamak). He tought Finance subject and still does. Once wrote a Finance Textbook.

He was with his family, going into Singapore to see his son who studies there.

"Terrible jam at the Causeway yesterday evening, so we decided to stay in JB and go in today"

Yeah. You know how the causeway is like.

"Nice seeing you again sir, after 7 years"

Yeah.
